ZYDRUNAS ILGAUSKAS INTO THE RAFTERS 16×20

LeBron James will go down as the best player in Cleveland Cavaliers history, and the franchise has had its share of impact players over the decades. But one player who had an incredible emotional connection with Cavs fans was Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He played 12 of his 13 NBA seasons in Cleveland, placing his name atop or near the top of most statistical categories, including being the all-time leader in games played (771). His popularity was universal among Cleveland fans, who honored him with a standing ovation when he returned to the city as a member of the Miami Heat in his final season in 2010-11. On 3/8/14, his ultimate measure of respect from the fans and Cavaliers organization came in the form of a jersey retirement ceremony.
