Sometimes in sports, everything lines up so the story written is as true as it is inspiring. The 2019 ZOZO CHAMPIONSHIP was the first official PGA Tour event to be held in Japan. The event was held at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Chiba, and the star of the show was Tiger Woods. He was the golfer Japanese fans came to see, and he didn’t disappoint. He shook off three opening bogeys before going into vintage Tiger mode with long drives, precise iron work and eagle-eye putting. The result was a tournament championship for Woods. The overriding story of that result was it earned Woods a tie with legendary Sam Snead for most career PGA Tour wins with 82. One of the most interesting parts of the final round Sunday was that the day began with a completion of round three due to inclement weather earlier in the tournament. Woods began the day wearing a blue polo but switched to his customary championship-day red polo for the remainder of the day.
This unique design features six putting images as well as two other action images from the final two rounds in the background. All of it comes together to form a classic UDA design honoring one of the greatest moments in a great career. To top it off, it’s finished with a black frame and a white suede mat for a truly unique look. Woods has autographed this framed limited edition (82) “82” 36” x 18” designed image in black paint pen. His signature is deemed authentic by virtue of Upper Deck Authenticated’s Five-Step Process.
