Gary Player is no stranger when it comes to the Masters. He has taken home the green jacket on three separate occasions. His three victories have him in a four way tie for fourth most victories at Augusta. His first win came in 1961 when he defeated Arnold Palmer in the final round. His 1961 victory made him the first international golfer to win the Masters. In 1974, he shot 70 in the final round to lift him above Dave Stockton and Tom Weiskopf. Then in 1978, Player had his most dramatic tournament victory at Augusta. At the age of 42, he found himself in 10th place which was seven strokes behind the lead. Player kicked it into gear his final round shooting a 64 which was a final round Masters record. His victory made him the oldest Masters winner ever at the time. This green Masters polo is autographed by Gary Player with a black paint pen. Player’s signature was witnessed by an Upper Deck representative as part of UDA’s 5-step authentication process.
