ZYDRUNAS ILGAUSKAS CAVS COLLAGE 16×20

Coming out of Lithuania as a 21-year-old center, Zydrunas Ilgauskas was drafted 20th overall in the 1996 NBA Draft. A year later, he made his debut in Cleveland and scored 16 points with 16 rebounds while also blocking two shots against the Rockets. He ended that season with placement on the All-Rookie First Team. Over the course of the next 12 NBA seasons, Big Z would develop into one of the league’s top big men. While he began his career with a full head of hair, as seen in the middle image of this collage, he eventually went to the shaved head look as his game grew at the same rate as his popularity in Cleveland. He surpassed Danny Ferry as the Cavs’ all-time leader in games played on 12/2/09.
