After losing in the Finals in 2019, the Warriors did not make the playoffs the following two seasons. In 2022, Curry proved to the world why he will go down as one of the all-time greats. That season the Warriors secured the third seed in the Western Conference Playoffs and they got hot at the right time. Curry led Golden State through each series defeating the Nuggets, Grizzlies, and Mavericks. They found themselves squaring off against the Boston Celtics in the NBA Finals. Curry stayed red hot in the series as he averaged 31.6 points per game along with 6.0 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game. His standout performance was in game four when he scored 43 points. Curry and the Warriors claimed their title after defeating the Celtics in six games.
