The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 is a highly coveted sneaker that was released during the 2022 holiday season. This special edition shoe is the result of a collaboration between Jordan Brand and Trophy Room, the retail store owned by Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus. It celebrates the 1992 Barcelona Olympics and pays homage to the iconic Air Jordan 7 “Olympic” sneakers that MJ wore during the games. The design of the AJ 7 “New Sheriff in Town” is inspired by a speech MJ gave to Larry Bird and Magic Johnson during team scrimmages. The shoe features premium suede uppers with Olympic ring colors on the heel tabs, as well as metallic gold hardware for decoration.
