Connor McDavid laced up his hockey skates his rookie season for the Edmonton Oilers in 2015-16. He played in 45 NHL games in his rookie season and still finished third in voting for the Calder Memorial Trophy awarded to the NHL’s Rookie of the Year. A must-see player always creating highlight reel plays, Connor has quickly gotten the attention of hockey fans from all around the world. His captivating style of play is credited to his incredible speed and ability to find a way to weave through defenders and put the puck in the back of the net. McDavid was only the ninth player in NHL history under the age of 20 who averaged more than a point per game in his rookie season. This specially designed shadow box contains a designed Edmonton Oilers “motion” image with an autographed clear acrylic stick blade mounted over the image. McDavid inked his name in black paint pen. The overall framed piece measures 24″x16″. McDavid’s signature was witnessed under UDA’s Five Step Authentication process.
