Sure, dominant center and future Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame member Shaquille O’Neal was there, along with a host of veterans. But the arrival of Hardaway ushered in a new era of Magic basketball where exciting plays were followed by wins. He spent six seasons in Orlando, earning All-NBA First Team status twice and playing in the All-Star Game four times. He helped lead the Magic to the NBA Finals in 1995.
